The regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award ceremony was held on Friday, June 27, 2008. The western Pennsylvania award program is one of 26 regional award programs that recognize the men and women who excel at growing and sustaining market-leading businesses.

Congratulations to John W. Manzetti – PLSG, winner of the Supporter of Entrepreneurship category, Peter M. DeComo - Renal Solutions, winner of the Healthcare category and Sean McDonald - Precision Therapeutics, winner of the Applied Sciences category.  Our life sciences companies took home 3 of the 8 category awards – an accomplishment that we should all be proud of.

John, Pete and Sean are eligible to vie for the national awards and be recognized at a black-tie gala, hosted by Jay Leno, on November 15 at the conclusion of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum.
